Company group auditions will take place this Saturday, April 1st from:
• 12:30 – 2 pm for 6 – 8 year olds,
• 2:30 – 4 pm for 9 – 11 year olds, and
• 4:30 – 6 pm for 12+ year olds.

Your dancer may receive an immediate callback to audition with the next age group. Please be prepared to allow them to stay. Callbacks for dancers being considered for three dances or specific dance genres (such as character, tap, ballet, etc.) will be announced through Team App the evening of auditions with a callback time from 1 – 4 pm on Sunday, April 2nd. Dancers should bring all of their dance shoes for this callback. Dancers will only be considered for two or three dances if the appropriate box was previously marked on their application form.

Participants will be notified by Team App only following both auditions regarding the results. Any questions or comments regarding level of placement will result in immediate dismissal from the team. All dancers are carefully placed in dances where they will grow both socially and as dancers.

Auditions will be closed and parents are not required to stay. The auditions will include a warm up, jazz across the floor and an age appropriate contemporary/jazz combination in the center followed by improvisation. Students will demonstrate all splits, pirouettes, and grand jetes (leaps). All steps will be demonstrated in detail during the audition. Participants are not required to know all of the steps prior to the audition. Dancers should wear a black leotard, solid black shorts (if desired), tan tights and either ballet or jazz shoes. Hair should be worn in a professional bun. Current company members must bring their jacket for evaluation.
