Parents are responsible for transportation to the event no later than 8:30 am and from this event at 6 pm (including Petites).

This convention is required for all team members (included in monthly fee already). Dancers will attend master dance classes followed by an onsite audition to earn competition scholarships, gift certificates and more. All dancers are required to participate in the audition. You can view the schedule here: https://www.danceplatinum.com/conventions Please check the schedule. There is an awards ceremony following the audition that parents may attend.

Please bring healthy snacks, lunch and bottled water. Female dancers – dress in dance attire with tights and hair in a professional bun with bobby pins and hairspray. Male dancers – dress in dance attire with hair out of the face. Wear layers because it can be cold in the building when you are not dancing. Bring all styles of dance shoes.

Please note – all dancer’s cell phones will be collected during convention classes (returned during lunch and after convention only). We have noticed a growing issue with distracted dancers at conventions over the last few years. This is very disrespectful to the convention instructors (which are usually the competition judges too!).
