Optional competition for solos/duets/trios. All dancers are welcome to attend convention. Cost for the weekend without competition: $450 (includes travel, food, hotel and event) due in full by 10/1. We may need to leave for this event during the school day depending on when competing dances are scheduled. Ages 9 and up.

We will leave at 5:30 pm on Friday following company class (unless your dancer is scheduled to compete early in the day – please see below). Please do not be late. Feel free to send homework. We have an hour drive both ways and can find additional time if necessary.

We will be staying at the Hilton Ocean Walk Resort http://www.daytonahilton.com Information regarding the convention location and schedule can be found at: http://dancemakersinc.com/tour/. The schedule will be released one week before the convention.

Below are the room assignments:
Miss Tasha and Miss Chloe’s Room (adjoining rooms) Grace W, Jaclyn, Bailey, Annie, Sydney Bouthillier and Kierstyn
Miss Becky’s Room – Lexi and Madison

Dancers are expected to attend class all day. Please see the schedule at the above website for more details when it is released.

Please note – all dancer’s cell phones will be collected during convention classes (returned during lunch and after convention only). We have noticed a growing issue with distracted dancers at conventions over the last few years. This is very disrespectful to the convention instructors (which are usually the competition judges too!). We anticipate returning around 5 pm on Sunday but will text/call as we are leaving and when we are approximately 30 minutes away for a more precise pick up time.

Competing Friday:
40 Brave – Kierstyn (arrive by 12:30 pm)
143 Thick Skin – Chloe (arrive by 5 pm)

Competing Saturday:
237 Adore – Chloe and Sydney Bouthillier (arrive by 4:30 pm)
